Bright tiny house on an island with incredible light and minimalism
Discover a bright little house on an island that each of us would like to live in. If you have a little knowledge of Greek mythology, then you have probably heard about the legend of the Minotaur or the beautiful Greek island of Crete, which was the home of the ancient Minoan civilization.
In one of these scenic spots, an airy, tiny caravan was built by the Scottish design firm Echo Living specifically for the yoga teacher who lives here for part of the year.
The house was originally designed and built in Scotland and later moved to its current location, between ancient olive trees and with stunning sea views. The base of the house had to be equipped with wheels, in accordance with the requirements that apply to all houses in the area: to minimize any mechanical impact on the environment.
Minimalism and focus on light
The main focus of the interior is on light, more light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened to their full width in order to allow the inhabitants of the house to breathe in the fresh sea air. Design in the style of minimalism, light colors in the interior, “uncluttered” by unnecessary furniture. All this creates the feeling of most spacious rooms.
The house consists of two separate zones: the main one, a living room and a secondary one, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
A solar-powered house with long-lasting LED lamps in the interior is not only energy efficient, but also environmentally friendly. A cozy light house with an ocean view, designed for life in the cold season, everything that each one of us needs!
