Small Garden Pavilion as office in the backyard
Creative specialists from Platform 5 Architects have developed an interesting unusual project in London. This is a small Garden Pavilion located at the back of a 1950 terraced house in St. John’s Wood. This room is very similar to a hole, however, it is adapted for a small study.
The name Shoffice literally translates as “flooded office”. In fact, experts have achieved a similar visual effect: the architecture of the room resembles a giant dew drop that spreads over the lawn.
This small room has an elliptical shape in the shape of a sink with a cozy deck terrace.
The cabinet was equipped with specially ordered and designed office furniture, which is a built-in shelving unit and a hanging table.
A huge panoramic window above the table, glass walls and a door create a lot of sunlight during the day. The entire load-bearing frame of the room is sheathed with wood panels, thanks to which the architecture of the pavilion organically fits into the urban design.
Since limited space was allocated for this building, the architects had to develop the design in such a way as to combine the work and recreation areas.
For us it is a modern, practical and aesthetically pleasing building that is unlike any other. A beautiful office in the backyard each one of us would like.
Write about your impressions of the Garden Pavilion, dear readers!
