Zigzag house in China attracted visitors from all over the world for its containers and blocks superposition
Zigzag house in Shanxi, China, is a structure that has long attracted the attention of not only tourists and other visitors, but also specialists in the field of architecture.
The building is a two-story entertainment pavilion, which was built from twelve containers equally divided between each of the levels. Each of the blocks was stripped of two walls, which made it possible to create a single space.

The containers are staggered, which not only creates a terrace on the exposed ceilings of the lower red drawers, but also creates a dynamic second floor structure with plenty of seating areas offering views of the surrounding city.
This design is a fairly effective way of allocating space, since with such a structure additional blocks are not required to increase the space.

External staircases offer easy access to both terrace levels, both on the blocks and on the roof, providing visitors with a true panoramic view.
Although most of the units are firmly attached to each other, there is the possibility of damage. In this case, it is very easy to replace one with the other. Most production containers are not recyclable and remain unused.
The zigzag house is a great example of how you can find alternative uses for used materials.
