How to build a house in 2 weeks with your own hands
Many of us in the spring-summer period start some kind of construction , for example, a gazebo, some shed, or other building, or even a house with our own hands . But not everyone has experience in building structures such as houses. Therefore, in this review I want to bring to your attention how to completely build a house from the foundation to the roof, with interior decoration.
The author of this structure, he says, built the house in just over two weeks, but at the same time he takes into account the days that he spent on the construction site. He worked from morning until late at night. As a result, the house was ready in just over two weeks. But without interior decoration. So, let’s begin.
To begin with, the author made a foundation. I stopped on a pile, poured the platforms on top, “pyataks” for strapping. Next, I installed a strapping around the perimeter of the foundation.
After the harness is installed, the author imposes a temporary flooring on it for ease of movement. Also, until the day came to an end, I assembled and installed one wall.
Further, other walls are assembled and installed. The walls are assembled lying down, then installed in place and reinforced with temporary supports-jibs. This is what comes out after installing the side walls.
The author made the end walls together with the pediment. Also, for the convenience of moving around the second floor, a temporary overlap is made, i.e. several boards on which they will walk. The pediment is going. Everything is done according to the drawings of the author himself.
Next, a second pediment is erected and rafters are laid along the entire length of the building.
Next, they begin to sheathe the pediment and part of the OSB wall, cover the roof with ondulin.
At the end of the working day, the house looked like this.
Next, cover the roof completely.
The next stage is wall insulation.
The next stage is the insertion of windows and siding of the walls.
Now a pit is being dug for a septic tank, its insulation and installation.
The external work is completed, only the internal ones remain: finishing, electrical and plumbing wiring. This is how the house looked after the completion of the external work.
This house has survived the winter. Inside the house, after the completion of construction work, everything looked like this.
The house had no floor or ceiling. There were several wall partitions to reinforce the structure and OSB sheathing.
The author began with the interior decoration of the house with the ceiling paneling. He made it an imitation of a bar.
Next, he makes a partition between the rooms. Inside it is insulated with mineral wool, sheathed on both sides with imitation of timber. There will subsequently be two rooms on the ceiling, while the stairs go there. Fully sheathed ceiling. The vapor barrier has been laid. The ceiling and floor are also insulated with mineral wool. In the foreground, a wall is visible, next to which the furnace will stand. The author took into account his mistake and, having disassembled it, converted it to aerated concrete.
After finishing with the cladding, the author begins to lay the wiring. He pulls it in a self-extinguishing corrugated hose, but most of it is hidden in the baseboards.
Since the house is quite spacious and each room needs its own cable, their total number is quite large and a huge bundle is assembled in front of the shield. The author recommends each of them to sign which cable is from.
All wires are collected together and disconnected in the shield. The machines used are ABB and one IEK. All at 10 amps.
It was the turn of the plumbing work. In the toilet, on the wooden floor, I attached two-layer cement-bonded concrete, waterproofing, and also laid a warm floor and tiles with a special glue for wooden floors. The photo shows a pumping station and a temporary hose that supplies water to the kitchen. Sewerage.
This is already in decent shape.
A gas cylinder is installed in the kitchen and an extractor hood is placed outside. Held the water.
I installed the oven. The wall is made of aerated concrete blocks.
I installed an air conditioner.
The last and final stage – covered the carpet, hung lamps and installed convectors. Ultimately, when the house was equipped, furniture appeared in it , the premises began to look more comfortable.
Are you now ready to build a house ?
